Our Green Badges are a simple and transparent way to show you how green a hotel is. They are based on a set of sustainability criteria that we have developed, inspired by the national sustainability initiative. The more criteria a hotel fulfills, the more Green Badges it receives. They consist of four green leaves, each representing a level of sustainability. You can see them on each hotel's profile page, along with a detailed explanation of what they mean. Our Green Badges are good for everyone: the environment, the travelers, and the hotels.

Our Sustainability Criteria
Inspired by the national sustainability initiative, we have created a catalogue of criteria on the basis of which our partner hotels are classified. Above all, the conscious use of water and energy, the use of regional and organic food as well as resource-saving management and leisure activities are taken into account.
