Ötscherland-Express

The Ötscherland Express Museum railway travels at a leisurely 25 km/h on the historic "Ybbstalbahn mountain line" between Kienberg-Gaming and Lunz am See. The steam-powered railway is the steepest narrow-gauge railway in Austria. The route runs over two trestlework bridges dating back to 1890, and the magnificent unspoilt nature does its bit to make the journey an unforgettable experience. The museum railway is open on selected dates from July to October.
