This Roman Catholic parish is a fortified church and has a churchyard, a projecting gate tower and a semi-circular wall tower which are worth seeing. The first chapel of grace which was built in Hochfeistritz dates back to the early 1240 and is only open for pilgrimages.  </p>

  

  

<p>The church building contains very detailed and valuable architecture. One of the beauties of this old and historical building is a unique fresco which was painted on the north wall of the nave, between years 1480 and 1490. This beautiful painting shows a cycle of Christ depicted in a special style in a cloth-like composition. It should be mentioned that this painting was transferred from the outer wall to the inside of the church in 1974. </p>
